Thank you for choosing Shawnee Mountain! These Terms & Conditions apply to all online and in-person purchases unless otherwise stated for a specific product. Please review this information before your visit to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

All purchases are final. Shawnee Mountain does not offer refunds, cancellations, credits, or exchanges for any product, including lift tickets, lessons, rentals, snow tubing, programs, activities, or events. Eligible reservations may be rescheduled in accordance with the Date & Time Changes policy below.

This policy applies regardless of, but is not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Personal illness or injury
  • Travel delays
  • Scheduling conflicts
  • Late arrival
  • Equipment issues
  • Partial use of a product
  • Failure to use a reservation

Unused products have no cash value.

Transfers

All products are non-transferable. The only exception is the 3 Pass Pack, which may be shared among immediate family members in accordance with that product’s terms.

Date & Time Changes

Shawnee Mountain understands that plans can change. Reservation changes are permitted subject to the following conditions.

Lessons & Snow Tubing

Reservations for lessons and snow tubing may be changed provided:

  • Requests are made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled reservation time.
  • A $5 change fee per ticket or product applies.
  • The requested date and/or time is available.

Because lesson and snow tubing capacities are limited, changes cannot be guaranteed. Requests received less than 24 hours before the scheduled reservation cannot be accommodated.

All Other Products

For all other products, including lift tickets, rentals, and activities not listed above:

  • Reservations may be changed at any time prior to redemption, subject to availability.
  • A $5 change fee per ticket or product applies.

Reservations may only be moved to another available date within the current operating season and may not be carried over to a future season.

Lift Ticket Policies

Lift tickets are valid only for the date and session purchased. Operating hours, terrain availability, lift operations, and trail access may change due to weather, snow conditions, maintenance, or operational requirements. Partial mountain operations do not qualify for refunds or credits.

Weather & Operational Conditions

Shawnee Mountain operates in varying winter weather conditions. Weather, snowmaking, grooming, lift operations, terrain availability, lesson schedules, and operating hours may change without notice. Temporary lift closures, reduced terrain, weather delays, operational adjustments, or weather-related conditions do not qualify for refunds, credits, exchanges, or compensation.

Equipment Responsibility

Guests are responsible for all rental equipment issued during their visit. Lost, stolen, damaged, or unreturned equipment may result in additional replacement or repair charges. Guests should immediately notify Shawnee Mountain staff if rental equipment has become damaged or unsafe to use.

Medical Conditions

Guests are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to participate in skiing, snowboarding, lessons, snow tubing, or other mountain activities. Parents or guardians should inform Shawnee Mountain staff of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that may affect a participant’s safety or instruction.

Shawnee Mountain may photograph or record guests while participating in mountain activities for marketing, promotional, operational, or training purposes. By visiting Shawnee Mountain, guests grant permission for the use of these images or recordings without compensation. Guests who prefer not to appear in promotional materials should notify Guest Services upon arrival.
