Admission to the Pocono Kid'z Fest is a special low $7.50 per person which includes all shows, activities & Shawnee Place (regular Shawnee Place Admission is $15 per person).
Ample Free Parking is provided. WSBG Radio, Adams Outdoor and Shawnee Mountain are the major sponsors of the 2006 Pocono Kid'z Fest. Other Sponsors include Wal-Mart.
Shawnee Place will again host the Pocono Family YMCA's annual Kid'z Fest on Saturday & Sunday, July 7 & 8, from 10 AM till 5 PM each day.
Serving as a yearly fundraiser for the Monroe County based YMCA, Pocono Kid'z Fest features over 30 child and family related activities, shows and exhibits plus all the fun of Shawnee Place Play & Water Park with its Waterslides, Splash Pools and Play Elements.
The Summer 2007 Kid'z Fest line-up includes nearly non-stop activities such as a Yugi-Oh! Tournament, a Lego Building Contest, Oreo Cookie Stacking Contest, Water Balloon Toss, , "The Shawnee Place-Little Luau -Dance Party", Gold Fish Toss and Duck Pond Games, Dunk Tank and Radar Ball Throw. Shawnee Place Magician Stephen Christopher will perform his magic shows in the air conditioned Garden of Wonders Magic Theatre.and strolling the grounds will be a Stilt Walker and Balloon Artist.
A Live Children's Theatre will be performed by the Shawnee Playhouse Cast. Basketball Entertainer and Youth Motivational Speaker Dan Wetzel will perform on Sunday. Witness Dan's eye-popping abilities to handle basketballs, as have thousands of athletes and coaches, ranging from the NBA to Saturday morning youth leagues.

Kid'z Fest booths and exhibits will be provided by Coca-Cola, the Bluebirds Foundation, DigiKids, Bushkill Emergency, the K-9 Unit, BJ's Wholesale Club, Adopt-A-Greyhound, Schoch's Harley Davidson, Novelties & More, the Nut Haven, Bookmobile, and the YMCA Popcorn & Candy Booth.
