General Admission to the Play Park is $15.00 (ages 3-59), $10.00 Seniors (ages 60+) and FREE for toddlers age 2 and under, and includes the Fireworks display. Admission after 5:00 pm is $10 per carload, which benefits the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company.
Shawnee Mountain Ski Area is holding its annual Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks on Saturday, July 7. The rain date is Sunday, July 8.
Families can spend the day at Shawnee Place Play & Water Park, enjoying the many hands-on play elements, two great Waterslides, Magic Shows, Supervised Activities and the 1000 square foot Activity Pool with interactive "Rain Drop" & "Lemon Drop" fountains. There will also be an outdoor concert by Kate & CJ and various food & craft vendors.
A delicious Hickory Licks barbecue is planned. Play Park operating hours will be extended till 8:30pm. A full one half hour fireworks display will be at dusk, approximately 9pm, presented by the Castiglione Fireworks Display Company.
