Admission to the Pocono Kid'z Fest is a special low $7.50 per person which includes all shows, activities & Shawnee Place (regular Shawnee Place Admission is $15 per person).
Shawnee Place will again host the Pocono Family YMCA's annual Kid'z Fest on Saturday & Sunday, July 5 & 6, from 10 AM till 5 PM each day.
Serving as a yearly fundraiser for the Monroe County based YMCA, Pocono Kid'z Fest features over 30 child and family related activities, shows and exhibits plus all the fun of Shawnee Place Play & Water Park with its Waterslides, Splash Pools and Play Elements.
The Summer 2008 Kid'z Fest line-up includes nearly non-stop activities such as a Yugi-Oh! Tournament, a Lego Building Contest, Oreo Cookie Stacking Contest, Water Balloon Toss, , "The Shawnee Place-Little Luau -Dance Party", Gold Fish Toss and Duck Pond Games, Dunk Tank and Radar Ball Throw. Shawnee Place Magician Stephen Christopher will perform his magic shows in the air conditioned Garden of Wonders Magic Theatre.and strolling the grounds will be a Stilt Walker and Balloon Artist.
