Shawnee Mountain Ski Area is holding its annual Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks, which benefits the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company on Saturday, July 5. The rain date is Sunday, July 6.
There will be an outdoor DJ, Uncle Sam Stilt Walker, Mark Clark’s “All American Magic Show” and various food & craft vendors. A delicious Hickory Licks barbecue is planned.
“The Best Show in the Poconos”, a full one half hour fireworks display will be at dusk, approximately 9pm, presented by the Castiglione Fireworks Display Company. The Gates open at 7:00 pm and admission is $10 per carload, with all proceeds going to the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company.
