Celebrating 30 years of music, friendship, and Irish pride... The trio has earned the reputation of being energetic performers dedicated to the preservation of Irish culture and history through Ireland's folk and nationalistic music. 30 years ago, the "Lads" agreed that when their efforts were no longer "fun", the group would disband. The Irish born Singer/Songwriter from Bellaghy, County Derry started his musical career playing the fiddle with local groups throughout Derry. At eighteen, Oliver came to America and since has played coast to coast from Seattle to Philadelphia. History as far back as 1570 mentions the Scottish shepards and their working collies. However, the modern Border Collies had their beginnings with the first organized sheep dogs trails which occured in 1873. The unique Border Collie "eye" is a take charge, mesmerizing gaze which, upon the trainer's command, these dogs use to compel the sheep to follow the flock skillfully guided by the Border Collie.
